This was taken (like all of my sunsets) at my place on my favourite horizon
There's also a really good view from down at the creek (that's right... we own a piece of a river) because there's this great view where the trees are silhouetted and stuff... But it's so far from my house (about 300 metres too far) and I can never be bothered going all the way down there and then all the way back up the cliffs and stuff -_-
We have a creek too but I never bother to go down there because of the walk. Technecly we own part of a mountain but it's so small it hardly counts as one. Again I hardly ever go up there because of the walk. It's a really steep climb and it's overgrown with stickers. Someday when I get a reliable camera I go up there and take some pictures because it really is pretty just inconviant. Out of couriosity where do you live? I live in Washington near Vancouver and Portland in Oregon.
Nevermind I looked at your deviantpage. Australia. That's pretty neat but I guess not to you since you live there. People who don't live here tell me that Washington is amazingly green but I never really notice. I've lived in the same place since I was born and I personally find the city amazing, but I don't think I could live there. Too many people and noises. You know what? I think these two comments are the longest one I've ever made.
Nah, I'm pretty happy about the fact that I live in Australia. Best country in world. ^^ Normally this place isn't green, but at the moment it is because of all the rain we've suddenly been getting lately.
I love the city too, but I totally agree with you; I'd miss the quiet of the country. And I'm not really that fond of crowds or pollution, lmao xD
Don't worry, lol. Almost ALL of my comments and blog posts are long ^^
Do you live on much land? Did that even make sense?
I just got most of my school books for the year and for the first year in a long time I'm not bored and looking forward to school. I'm homeschooled. How about you?
Do you like reading? And if so what do you like to read? I like to read Fantasy, some Science Fiction, and Historical Fiction. My favorite author is Georgette Heyer. Her books are kind of hard to find though at least around here. I know that you can find them in England but unfortunately I don't know anyone living there right now. I know at least four people who have been there for a few months and one who lived there for a year.
Lol, yeah, we have about ten acres. If that was what you meant ^^
Ahhh you lucky thing! I wish I were homeschooled. I've basically been held back since my first step in a classroom. But I guess I'd miss my friends and stuff.
Myeeeessss, I LOVE reading I read so much that recently, I read for a whole weekend straight and suddenly started to lose my long sight. But I couldn't stop reading, so now I'm losing my sight over it xD that's how smart I am
I like to read fantasy and science fiction; anything imaginitive. But if the story has depth, is reasonably fast-paced and has a few twists to keep me interested, I'll read any genre. My favourite author is.... I have no idea
I used to have a penpal in england, but we lost contact >.>
I love being homeschooled, though I don't see people outside of family much during the week. I have a lot of time to do other things beside school since I can do it whenever I want. Sometimes when I get insomnia I do the next days schoolwork so I don't have to in the morning.
Well, if you lose your sight you can always listen to books on tape.
Have you read Howl's Moving Castle? It's currently one of my favorite books. I liked the movie too, but you have to think of it as a completely different story.
I hardly ever have penpals. I'm a horrible corispondant and I always lose the address.
What's the weather like where you are? Here It's slightly cold and cloudy, which I for one am greatful for after it being so hot.
Yay for books on tape! Although it's not quiteas wide a selection, and I have no idea where to get them >.> Anyway, I don't think I'll go blind or anything, it's just annoying having everything go blurry -_-
O.o No, I have not read Howl's Moving Castle....... Or seen the movie..... But I really want to xD
Lol, it's cold and cloudy here, too, but it's warmer than it has been lately (it's been a VERY cold winter.)
Do you have glasses? I used to read for hours and hours without getting tired. Later we found out that it was because my eyes didn't have to focus to read but it was bad because I couldn't really see faraway at all.
What season is it where you are? If that makes sense. It's almost autumn and school is starting on Monday.
This past year has gone so quickly. Ever since my baby sister was born. I swear babies make time speed up. It seems like no time at since babysitting all the kiddies waiting for Mom and Dad to come home with another one.
Do you have siblings? I have five. We are all really close age wise except for me and the baby.
Nope, I dn't have glasses ^^ I don't want to get them, either xD It's my long sight that's bad because of reading too much.
My sight was perfect until a couple of months ago where I basically read for an entire weekend in every waking moment, and I realised that when I looked up, it would take a while for my eyes to focus on things farther away. I think it started off as taking a while to focus, but I just kept reading heaps anyway and now my long sight is terrible.
It's Winter here, but we're heading into Spring.
Nawwww, babies <3 Time is ALWAYS too fast for me It seems like we only just had Christmas, and what do you know? It's coming up again in just a few months.
I have an older brother, who I luvs <3 He's about a year older than me >.>
Sorry about MY long reply Although, most of my replies are like that, lol. I love rambling! Yay for rambling! ^^
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
